10 Minutes of Exclusive New Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Gameplay – IGN First

Team Ninja’s upcoming action game Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is off to a head start in 2023 as IGN First in January. If you like dying, it’s because you do it a lot.Throughout his month of this new Soulsborne based on Chinese martial arts, developed by Ninja Gaiden and the team behind Nioh, massive amounts of Stay tuned for exclusive coverage.

First, there is 10 minutes of exclusive gameplay from Tianzhushan, the early stages of the game. The beautiful mountain scenery and lush bamboo groves are breathtaking, but with bloodthirsty enemies around every corner, you might not want to spend too much time admiring the scenery.

With items hidden on rocks that can be reached using a double jump, and secret passageways that can be discovered by cutting bamboo trees, Tianzhu Mountain is a great example of Wo Long’s diverse exploration.

Our video also showcases staff gameplay. A symbol of traditional Chinese martial arts, the staff is one of Wo Long’s 13 different melee weapons and boasts acrobatic body movements.

The demo’s spooky mermaids and terrifying tigers are back, but new enemies have surprised us, including giant monkeys and hedgehog-like creatures with spinning attacks reminiscent of Nioh’s Wheel Monks. Inside, we were greeted by a surprise attack from an enemy that still gives us nightmares. Check out the video and see for yourself.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is set to release for PS5/PS4/Xbox Series X|S/Xbox One/PC on March 3rd, and will be available on Xbox Game Pass day one! Expect to see a lot more new Wo Long content inside.
