A Tattoo Artist Is Inking Every Original Pokémon for Charity

Here are some heartwarming stories for Valentine’s Day. A tattoo artist has taken on the challenge of getting all 151 of his original Pokemon inked to donate to the Blue Cross animal welfare charity.

William Langford of Stowmarket in Suffolk, England, BBC about his philanthropy. The artist said he came up with the idea after learning that longtime Pokémon anime protagonist Ash Ketchum was leaving the series. I decided to do something good for people and animals.

“I know many animals have been rehomed or released. [COVID] Lockdowns always happen around Christmas time, so I decided to raise money for the Blue Cross,” Langford said.

So far, Langford has tattooed eight of the original 151 Pokémon, with another ten reserved for his studio.upon Langford’s Instagramand you can see some of the completed tattoos, including classic Pokemon in red, blue, and yellow. Pikachu, Snorlax, Mew, slow broand Bulbasaur.

Mr Langford hopes to raise £4,000 for Blue Cross through the project.

Ash’s farewell tour continues with Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series, where the beloved trainer is finally at his best. A series of special episodes feature Ash and Pikachu leaping into the sunset, with cameos from classic his characters such as Brock and Misty.

The new Pokémon series for 2023 will star dual protagonists named Riko and Roy.
