Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp is only available in regular version. If there are any changes in the future, I will add the information here.

What is Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp?

For years (and years) fans of strategy games have been craving new Advance Wars. However, Nintendo appears to have left the franchise behind in favor of its other turn-based strategy game series, the fantasy-flavoured Fire Emblem. It’s good to see it come to life.

This game contains complete remakes of the first two Advance Wars games that first appeared on the GBA in the early 2000s before the series made its way to the Nintendo DS. Among them, you are in command of the Orange Star Army. That means you’re responsible for telling land, sea, and air-based forces where to go and which enemies to engage. The idea is to use your wits and strategy to win the battle. You can play two campaigns or challenge your friends in Versus Mode.

Re-Boot Camp was originally announced with an April 2022 release date, but the war in Ukraine caused Nintendo to delay its release. (Enemy forces cartoonishly resemble Russia). As such, it is finally set to be released on April 21, 2023, after a one-year delay.
