AMD Ryzen 7 7700X 32% Faster Than 5800X in Unverified Cinebench Test
The AMD Ryzen 7 7700X is the latest CPU benchmarked on Cinebench R20 by a Chinese leaker. extreme playerThe upcoming Ryzen 7000 chip is 23% better than the Ryzen 7 5800X in 1T tests and 32% faster in multithreaded tests.
This is an unverified leak and testers have admitted that the Ryzen chip is an engineering sample (which seems to be correct based on the CPU images) so launch/availability could improve things Please note in particular.
The claimed 7700X (codename: Raphael) chip will feature AMD’s latest Zen 4 cores and will be manufactured on TSMC’s N5 process in an 8C/16T configuration. This video uses Extreme Player to reflect some of the benefits of new technology in Ryzen 7000 chips to comparable performance data.
Here’s how a Twitter user’s alleged score for the 7700X Cinebench R20 compares to other chips that have gone through Extreme Player’s lab (and Anandtech’s 5800X). spring breeze :

AMD is planning a Together We Advance_PCs event on Monday, August 29th. At the event, AMD CEO Dr. Lisa Su and his CTO Mark Papermaster will discuss his Ryzen 7000 series and “present the latest Zen 4 architecture details”.
Based on the product library slip earlier this summer, we expect the launch lineup to consist of the Ryzen 9 7950X, Ryzen 9 7900X, Ryzen 7 7700X, and Ryzen 5 7600X.
In the meantime, check out all the information (benchmarks, pricelists, etc) about AMD’s upcoming Ryzen 7000 processors.
