A new Assassin’s Creed game has been announced and is open for pre-order. Assassin’s Creed Mirage is set to release in 2023 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. Stylistically, it’s proposed as a return to the early Assassin’s Creed games, with smaller maps and a heavy focus on stealth kills and parkour traversals. As such, Mirage is expected to be shorter than recent releases such as Valhalla and Odyssey, and is priced accordingly. The standard edition is $49.99. Read below for more information.

What is Assassin’s Creed Mirage?
Players play as Basim, a street thief in 9th-century Baghdad, and become embroiled in a vast series-wide conspiracy. During the course of Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Basim climbs a shadowy organization called the Hidden Ones and becomes Master Assassin. Along the way, he opens and explores four unique districts of Baghdad’s Golden Age. Ubisoft also says Mirage will offer the largest cache of assassin tools of any game in the series, allowing for “more instinctive assassinations than ever before.”
