Star Wars Jedi: Survivor takes place five years after the events of Fallen Order. You’ll return to the position of Cal Kestis as you reassemble your team to face the imperial menace. Unlike many games of this type, Cal is able to retain the abilities he learned in the first game, allowing Wall his runs, ziplines and double his jumps to his heart’s content from the start.
The PC version had some pretty bad performance issues, but the console version has been doing great since day one.
I got this game on Xbox Series X and had an epic time over the weekend (even pre-patch) using different lightsaber stances to get out of a perilous mission on Coruscant. Then I ended up on a new planet, where I went off the beaten path and was soon destroyed by Rancor. This is life in a galaxy far, far away.
If you have your eye on Jedi: Survivor and own a current generation console, I think this is definitely worth getting at this price. As with all games by Yahoo!, we are confident that we will see significant discounts within the next few months.
