and Blog post detailing the updateActivision laid out the changes while revealing Warzone’s new Japanese-themed Ashika Island map.
Developed by High Moon Studios, Ashika Island is a centuries-old village currently besieged by the Shadow Company’s forces. After a stop in the fog, operators can explore ancient shipwrecks and ruins, modern apartments and town centers, sprawling beach clubs, bustling harbors, organic farms, or fortified castles looming across the island. They may even discover a number of rooftop pathways and underground waterway networks that can be used for more stealthy operations.
According to Activision, the island is suitable for resurrection mode. It’s a variation on the traditional battle royale format built around respawns and small maps.
