Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Composer Has Left the Project Due to a Challenging ‘Working Dynamic’

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone composer Sarah Schachner shared that she won’t be composing music for the game due to the challenge of “dynamic work” with the project’s audio director.

As reported by variety, Schachner did not specifically name the voice director, but it is said to be Stephen Miller. However, she did respond to many fans who have asked about the release of the Modern Warfare 2 soundtrack. Unfortunately, that may not be the answer many were hoping for.

“Sadly we can no longer continue to make music for MWII/Warzone,” Schachner wrote. twitter. “Over the last few months, the dynamics of working with audio directors have become more and more difficult and I don’t see a way forward. For now, the soundtrack has been removed, so the status and release plans I’m not sure about my hand.

“While I have no control over how the music is presented in-game, it is not my artistic intent with regards to mixing and mastering to be released on the soundtrack. It was part of a creative vision, with mixer Frank Wolff.

She then took the time to praise the work of the entire audio team, and hopes that you still enjoy the soundtrack she worked so hard on.

“I would like to thank the entire audio team for their incredible hard work. I put a lot of work and effort into it and I hope you continue to enjoy it,” Schachner said. , musicians Basek, Brian Mantia and M.B. It’s been part of the creation for years.”
