Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is coming soon, and fans of the 2009 classic and newcomers alike will be drawn into a new world starring Captain John Price, Sergeant Kyle ‘Gaz’ Garrick, Lieutenant Simon ‘Ghost’ Riley, and Sgt. will be John ‘Soap’ McTavish. The campaign will certainly be a highlight, but multiplayer is something that keeps players engaged months and years after launch, and IGN is giving us the first look at what that multiplayer looks like in action.

What to Expect from IGN’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II Launch Multiplayer Stream

IGN’s Stella Chan Free-For-All, Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, Headquarters, Control, Prisoner Rescue, Knockout, Search & Destroy. She will also be experimenting with battle map modes (up to 32v32) such as Ground War and Ground War Invasion.

Fans will also get a glimpse of two map types (core maps and battle maps) grouped into one of three categories. Al Mazura, Las Armas and other areas. She delves deeper into perks, fields her upgrades, killstreaks, new water-based movement and combat, and more.
