Craig Wright believes Apple is in breach of his copyright to Bitcoin’s whitepaper

Computer scientist Craig Wright believes Apple has violated his copyright to the Bitcoin whitepaper.

In a tweet on April 6th, Wright answered “yes” when asked if he thought Apple was infringing copyright.

Wright’s response was met with several sarcastic tweets from the cryptocurrency community urging him to sue the tech giants.

At the time of writing, it was unclear whether Wright would take legal action against Apple.

Wright has repeatedly claimed to be the creator of Bitcoin and the person behind the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto.

Wright has a history of Bitcoin lawsuits.

The self-proclaimed Bitcoin founder has filed numerous lawsuits over his intellectual property rights to the blockchain network.

In 2021, Wright will Bitcoin.org Websites that no longer host copies of the Bitcoin White Paper. At the time, the community argued that Wright’s lawsuit was against the spirit of the network.

However, a British judge recently ruled against Wright’s claim about bitcoin’s file format. Not applicable.

On the one hand, nothing could deter computer scientists’ controversial approach to the BTC network and its underlying technology.

In 2022, Wright sued crypto exchanges Coinbase and Kraken for misrepresenting “Bitcoin Core” as real Bitcoin. He says his real BTC is his Bitcoin Satoshi Vision (BSV).

In a separate lawsuit, Wright sued 15 developers and obtained 111,000 BTC worth $2.5 billion. Judge Colin Barth of the Court of Appeals in London has allowed the case to be heard.
