Crash Bandicoot Developer Seemingly Teasing a New Game (That Probably Isn’t Call of Duty)

It looks like Toys For Bob, Activision’s Crash Bandicoot developers, are up to something new.

The company recently released the Crash Bandicoot N. Thane Trilogy before tackling the critically acclaimed Crash Bandicoot 4.

But like most of Activision’s studios, Toys For Bob was drafted last year to work on Call of Duty. Now it looks like the developers will also get a chance to create something new.

teasing upcoming new games Via Twitterthe company deliberately left space for the new project in the list of all previous games.

For one thing, it’s unlikely to be a new Call of Duty game. The studio was “proud” to have worked on Season 3 of Call of Duty Warzone, but Call of Duty doesn’t appear anywhere on the list of Toys For Bob games.

Clearly, the studio feels it’s not one of its major projects, and feels unlikely that Toy for Bob will be very keen to roll out the red carpet for another installment. Instead, it seems much more likely that we’ll see another Crash Bandicoot sequel or spin-off on the horizon, even if many Crash Bandicoot 4 designers and developers have since moved on.

Other popular contenders include Skylanders’ new game, as well as Spyro, given that Toys For Bob worked on the Spyro Reignited Trilogy in 2018.
