So, if you’re like me and need something until Diablo 4 releases, here are six games you can play right now to satisfy your Diablo 4 cravings while you wait.
way of exile
Diablo 2 lovers rejoice. If Diablo 2 Resurrected is getting old, it might be time to check out Path of Exile. Grinding Gear Games is clearly aiming to attract die-hard fans of Diablo 2 with Path of Exile, but with a more complex and robust skill, itemization and endgame system. Free to Play POE takes APRG to another level. There’s a massive passive skill tree, tons of unique his gear, ever-evolving skills available through skill gems, tons of content, and an endgame designed to keep you playing. Crafting in The Last Epoch can be a little jarring at first, as you face the inevitable disappointment of having some of your gear rendered worthless by the roll of the dice. Rest assured that as you play the game and collect new loot and materials, this crafting system is a great way to grow your power in-game. Nothing beats rolling back the exact stats you need and sending your build end to end.
Newcomers to the game can also use the various build guides present in the game. Speaking of Endgame, Last Epoch has something called Monolith and Echo. This is similar to Path of Exile mapping. There, you’ll see a web of maps to load to defeat monsters, complete simple objectives, and earn loot. In a world where Diablo 3 took on a more colorful aesthetic or “cartoon” look, Grim Dawn is yet another game in which humanity is in danger and must use force to defeat evil, a post-apocalyptic setting. It brings out the wildness of the world. Yes, there are scepters, swords, jewelry, and all sorts of manners you can expect from ARPG itemization.
The deep character customization provided by Crate Entertainment will take you on a satisfying journey all the way to level cap 100. Gear stat bonuses earned as you play take your character’s power to new heights. In Endgame, players can look forward to modes like the Crucible and Shattered His Realms. This is an endless dungeon that gets progressively more difficult as you progress. One of the more satisfying parts of Grim Dawn is the sheer number of builds players can build. Ever wanted to play Diablo in space? That’s what Superfuse gives you.
Currently only available on Steam, Superfuse is in very early access. Like most ARPGs of its kind, Superfuse is a game that owes its addictive gameplay loop and loot system to Diablo 2. in addition. Superfuse stands out for two things: his themes and his innovative skill system.
Dressed in comic book style paint, Superfuse is set in the distant future within our solar system. After several years in the test market, Amazon unleashed Lost Ark on the Western market. The popularity skyrocketed upon release, and to this day, Lost Ark maintains a very healthy player base. It doesn’t have many similarities to Diablo games, but given that MMOs are first, Lost Ark has what makes a game like Diablo so much fun. A plethora of monsters on the screen and countless skills to destroy them all is a satisfying flame of glory.

Although free to play, Lost Ark offers players the option to purchase in-game currency and crafting materials. As such, Lost Ark has few “pay-to-win” means, but you can easily achieve everything without spending a dime.

By now, you may be saying, “What the hell?” clearly. “Listen. Yes, of course, Diablo 3 is the most recent mainline entry in the franchise, but when was the last time you played? Diablo 3 is now in its 28th season. The game just got better, so definitely The biggest update has come: Enter the Ritual Altar, Diablo 3’s Season 28 theme and main new mechanics.
Altars act as a new passive skill tree.
