Dogecoin dev tool update adds QR codes, moon phases, BIP-39 seed support

The Dogecoin Foundation has released a major update to the libdogecoin toolset. March 23rd A note from developer Michi Rumin.
Lumin described the update as “a big one” and said the release included several new features and various fixes and improvements.

Specifically, the update includes support for BIP39. BIP39 is a widely used standard for creating and restoring addresses in Bitcoin wallets and other wallets. This update also adds full support for relevant address standards such as BIP32, BIP44 and SLIP44.
This means that users are given options related to seed phrases (lists of common words that act as mnemonics). Lumin says multiple languages are supported.
Additionally, this toolset can generate QR codes that are commonly used in mobile wallet transactions. Investors often want Dogecoin’s price to “go to the moon”, so libdogecoin can now display the phases of the moon.

These features are intended for developers building their own Dogecoin wallets or other software. However, many of these features are also available to ordinary users via an executable titled “such” (a reference to “dogespeak” found in the meme itself).
Dogecoin Holds Market Position
Dogecoin is down 3.1% in 24 hours. By comparison, Bitcoin suffered similar losses, falling 2.9% over the same period.
Dogecoin is among the top 10 crypto assets with a market capitalization of $10.4 billion.
