Doom 2 RPG is Now Available on PC

GEC.inc announced today on Twitter that it has ported the Doom 2 RPG to PC. First released for the iPhone and iPod Touch in early 2010, Doom 2 RPG is set a year after the events of the first game. It focuses on a group of two space marines and a scientist investigating a demon-infested research facility on Earth’s moon.

Doom 1 & 2 RPG stands apart from the rest of the series, known for its fast-paced first-person shooter and plenty of brutal demon-slaying antics. In contrast, Doom RPG games still take place in first-person perspective, but utilize turn-based RPG mechanics.

The app store for Doom 2 RPG has a store listing, but is not playable on recent versions of iOS. I can’t find it when I search for the game in the App Store. but, store list The web browser shows that macOS 11.0 is installed and works on Macs with Apple processors such as the M1 chip.

In his initial review of Doom 2 RPG, IGN’s Levi Buchanan gave it an 8, saying that Doom 2 RPG’s battles are “fast and intense, but the story segments and puzzle play are well-paced.

The PC port of Doom 2 RPG is doom worldfree of charge, GEC.inc has confirmed that the port supports touchscreen behavior like the original version of the game, and supports gamepads like the Xbox Wireless Controller.
