Dragon Age: The Missing – See Dark Horse’s Prequel to BioWare’s Dreadwolf Game

BioWare is finally ready to release the next entry in the Dragon Age series. But if you want to know what’s next in this critically acclaimed fantasy saga, Dark Horse Comics is releasing a prequel miniseries called Dragon Age: The Missing.

IGN is pleased to exclusively debut a new preview of Dragon Age: The Missing #1 written by George Mann and drawn by Kieran McKeown. Check it out in the slideshow gallery below.

Here’s Dark Horse’s official description for the first issue:

A new storyline that connects directly to BioWare’s upcoming game Dragon Age: Dreadwolf! Varric Tethras and Race Harding follow their former friends down to the abandoned Deep Road beneath Marnas Pell. But Blight corruption has infected the walls, and the threat of darkspawn looms large. . .

Dragon Age: The Missing #1 will be released in comic shops and digital stores on Wednesday, January 25th.

There’s no release date for Dragon Age: Dreadwolf yet, but BioWare confirmed that the highly anticipated RPG recently completed its alpha milestone. So the game is now playable from start to finish. BioWare also recently released a new cinematic trailer that shines a light on Solas, the classic dread wolf.
