Dying Light Developer Reveals More Info About Its RPG Alongside New Art

Dying Light developer Techland has revealed details and another concept art for their upcoming open-world fantasy action RPG.

Additionally, Techland posted concept art. It shows a character climbing a tree and looking out over a vast, lush world littered with ruins. It also looks like there are broken moons and planets in the sky.

Techland shared a similar tease almost a year ago. So the studio also brought in narrative director Karolina Stachyra and narrative lead He Arkadiusz Borowik for this project, two of her fantasy veterans who previously worked on The Witcher 2 and 3. I knew. A talent with credits in games such as Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Mad Max, Deathloop, and Horizon Zero Dawn.

There is no title or release window for this game. Little is known beyond concept art, and Techland wants the game to be a “complete next-gen experience.”

Techland’s last game was what we called 2022’s Dying Light 2. “Another in a long series of big, ambitious games that see potential greatness just beneath the dirty layer of bugs”. We’ve spent exactly one year planning the next five years of content.
