An official Elden Ring comic has been released featuring characters such as Melina, Ladhan, and Malenia, but rather than following a deep and dark story similar to the game, the comic is actually a comedy.
As reported by PC gamerthe cartoon is Available online for free It was published in 12 languages by Kadokawa, the parent company of FromSoftware. Her Asea, a wretched Turned (her character starting naked in Elden Ring) navigates the strange and wonderful world of her The Lands Between.
Only two chapters are currently available, but the manga evolves over time with new episodes released on the 4th and 19th of each month. It’s written by Nikiichi Tobita, the artist behind another gag manga called Daily Life of the Cursed Sword, but follows the same lore and story set by FromSoftware.
“Poor, bruised and wretched Aseo is cast out in Rimgrave to find himself naked, penniless, desperate and virginless.” Official synopsis read. “His only hope in his harsh and unforgiving new home is a mysterious woman named Melina.
“A colorful cast of characters awaits Aseo along the way: Patch the Untethered, Blade the half-wolf, Margit the Fallen Premonition, the Transplanted Godric and of course Lanny the Witch. Between Aseo and Certain Death With little loincloth, he sets off for the quest’s first destination, Stormvale Castle. Will he be able to get there, or will his journey be over before it begins? Is not it?”
Elden Ring has proven somewhat of a cultural phenomenon since its release in February, with players finding different ways to interact with the game. People have played with the Nintendo Switch Ring Fit controller, a Fisher-Price toy, and some have even created a working VR version of the game.
