Microsoft has confirmed that some users have seen Elden Ring appear on Xbox Cloud Gaming as part of Xbox Game Pass, but it’s just a bug that’s now being fixed.

Several games such as Elden Ring, GTA V and Soul Hackers 2 appear on the store page, and an ad promoting Xbox Cloud Gaming came out earlier today. However, while many speculated that this meant the title’s Xbox Game Pass debut, it appears that it was all an unintentional mistake.
A Microsoft spokesperson said, “We are aware of a bug where some titles are incorrectly listed as available for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.” euro gamer“We rolled out a fix and this is being updated now.”
Of course, it’s no surprise that gamers and Game Pass subscribers jumped to conclusions. After all, this isn’t the first time a game has been leaked like this before being added to the Game Pass catalog.
Madden NFL 23 was previously listed on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate in the same way Elden Ring is here.
