Unlike previous IllFonic games where the goal is to escape, the team of humans in Spirits Unleashed wants to defeat and capture player-controlled ghosts while overcoming practical antics. Ghosts can possess objects and hide them in plain sight, fly between rifts to teleport, slow the team down with slimes, and summon numerous minions.
Spirits Unleashed will release on several maps including a museum, an abandoned prison, and more. Other iconic Ghostbusters locations will also make an appearance, including Firehouse.
