God of War Ragnarok Developer ‘Strongly’ Encourages Players to Download the Day 1 Patch

Santa Monica Studios has released a day one patch for God of War Ragnarok. The developer says he’s “highly recommended” for players to download tomorrow ahead of the full game’s release on November 9th.

patch, details Santa Monica Studios websitecontains nearly 200 fixes to Ragnarok, including updates to gameplay, quests, cinematics, dialogue, performance, UI, and more. Notable fixes include improved companion behavior and in-game compass, “Adjusted dialog timings to make dialogue sound more natural”, more stable frame rates, fewer instances of crashes, and “DualSense Additional Tuning and Coverage of Controller Haptics”.
