God of War: Ragnarok is just two months away with a juicy new trailer full of gameplay, story details, and even a little battle with Thor himself.
The trailer was unveiled at the State of Play showcase today, along with the announcement of a limited-edition God of War: Ragnarok-themed DualSense controller. enemies (including giant jellyfish?), and how the Norse god Tyr fits into all of them.
The trend throughout the trailer is Atreus keeping secrets from his father and following his path despite not understanding where he’s going, wondering if fate is really binding. Kratos is also shown fighting in various new locations, including lush forests and what appear to be outer space.
New moves are also on display, showing Kratos jumping over gaps by quickly pulling himself with Blades of Chaos, picking up rocks and flying them. The trailer culminates in a glimpse of the battle we all knew, with Kratos facing off against Thor.
The limited-edition controller, on the other hand, has a blue and white design with a wolf howl on the touchpad. It will be available for pre-order starting September 27th, before it goes on sale alongside Ragnarok itself on November 9th.
