Gran Turismo 7 is getting PSVR 2 support, PlayStation CEO Jim Ryan announced at Sony’s CES 2023 press conference tonight.
Released almost a year ago, Gran Turismo 7 is the eighth major installment in Sony’s long-running racing simulation franchise. In his review of Gran Turismo 7, which we gave him a 9, his colleague Luke Reilly noted the graphical fidelity of the title, the abundance of racing options, and his PS5’s availability thanks to his DualSense controller I admired the haptic feedback.
Gran Turismo 7 for PSVR 2 will be available as one of many launch title games when PSVR 2 releases on February 22nd, and will be a free upgrade for anyone who owns Gran Turismo 7. . Includes Horizon: Call of the Mountain, No Man’s Sky, and Resident Evil Village.
In addition to the news of Gran Turismo 7’s VR mode for PSVR 2, Sony’s CES 2022 press conference also shared a preview of the Gran Turismo movie coming to theaters later this year. Alongside the announcement of Project Leonardo, a new accessibility controller kit compatible with PS5.
