If there’s one downside, it’s pretty lightly said, but Half-Life: Alyx was designed and intended exclusively for VR, so if you don’t have a VR set, you’re out of luck. There are some mods that will allow you to play in, but come on, Half-Life: Alyx was designed specifically to take advantage of VR. Thankfully, there are actually Black Friday VR deals going on. With Meta Quest and a certified USB-C cable, you can use it as a VR helmet connected to your PC. In fact, Meta’s controller is very good and works surprisingly well in Half-Life: Alyx. Sounds good.
