Hidetaka Miyazaki Teases More On the Way for Elden Ring

During his Game of the Year acceptance speech, Elden Ring director Hidetaka Miyazaki promised that there could be more content for Elden Ring.

FromSoftware’s massive RPG, Elden Ring, won Game of the Year at this year’s Game Awards. Director Miyazaki accepted the award on stage and promised, “Elden Ring still has a lot to do.”

Elden Ring was released earlier this year, and FromSoftware has already released a new content expansion called Colosseum that allows players to battle each other in PvP combat. However, many fans are hoping for some form of story DLC, given that all of FromSoftware SouldBorne’s games have some sort of narrative expansion.

This includes the Dark Souls trilogy and Bloodborne.

It’s unclear what Miyazaki left behind for Elden Ring, but we know FromSoftware is busy with multiple projects. Just tonight, FromSoftware announced the next game in the Armored Core franchise, Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon, at The Game Awards.

Hopefully, fans can focus on Miyazaki and FromSoftware’s well-deserved win for Game of the Year Elden Ring.

A rather different kind of surprise emerged during the Game of the Year acceptance speech when Stage Crasher invaded the stage with the team from Miyazaki and FromSoftware.
