Hogwarts Legacy: Developer Confirms There Are No Current Plans for DLC

Hogwarts Legacy developer Avalanche Software has revealed to IGN that the studio has no current plans to release additional content for Wizarding World RPG.

Speech at IGN FanfestHogwarts Legacy game director Alan Tew explained that the team has been so busy preparing the game for launch last week that they have not yet planned to release the expansion.

“We’ve really put our heads down [Hogwarts Legacy] Mr Tew said: “There are no plans for DLC at this time.”

Of course, that’s not to say Avalanche Software won’t support the game after launch. We have already released a patch for the game with some performance improvements and other updates.

Hogwarts Legacy has already received some extra duties thanks to PlayStation exclusive quests in Hogsmeade.

Fans will have to wait and see if Avalanche Software comes out with the right extras, but given Tew’s comments, that seems unlikely. I cut Nearly 500,000 players before Steam officially launchedits success may motivate its developers and publishers to expand the magical world.
