Jedi Survivor Confirmed for The Game Awards, New Key Art Revealed

Hours after Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’s release date appeared to be leaked on Steam, EA has revealed that gameplay for the highly anticipated title will be appearing at The Game Awards 2022 later this week.

I also got a new piece of art for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. It features Cal Kestis and his droid BD-1.

A leak today listed March 15th as the release date for the Fallen Order sequel. This is in line with EA’s plans to release a major game by April 2023, as we learned last month. A rumored date could be confirmed alongside a gameplay showcase at The Game Awards.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was first announced in January of this year. EA released a trailer in May confirming his window on the title and his 2023 release. The game follows Cal Kestis, who is still on the run from the Empire after the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Respawn’s action-RPG is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

The Game Awards will be available on IGN on Thursday, December 8th at 4:00 PM PT / 7:00 PM ET when the IGN pre-show begins. The event itself will start he one hour later at 5pm PT/8pm ET. While we wait for the event later this week, check out the PS5 and Xbox announcements we hope to see at The Game Awards.
