Jet Set Radio Spiritual Successor Bomb Rush Cyberfunk Delayed to Next Summer

Team Reptile has announced that the release of Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, a jet set radio inspired game, has been pushed back to next year.

“About the release: I am confident that the release of the game this year will fall short of my personal satisfaction,” Team Reptile said in a statement on Twitter. “To create a fulfilling and unique game, he’s extending the development period for Bomb Rush Cyber ​​funk to summer 2023.”

But the studio went on to say We plan to release more visuals of the game this week to show people how development is progressing.

Bomb Rush Cyberfunk was first announced in 2020 as the successor to Jet set Radio. In addition, Hideki Naganuma of Jet Set Radio is in charge of music.

The game allows players to ride around with boost packs and sketch graffiti in high places.

So far, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk has been confirmed for release on Steam for Nintendo Switch and PC. Coming soon to consoles too. It’s the latest game to join a long list of titles postponed to 2023, including Starfield and Sons of the Forest, so players will have to wait a little longer to play it.
