Hasbro has announced that it is producing a Dungeons and Dragons documentary co-directed by Joe Manganiello and Kyle Newman.
The untitled documentary, released in 2024 to celebrate D&D’s 50th anniversary, will draw from never-before-seen footage from the early 1970s, over 400 hours of the game’s creation. A celebrity fan of the game also appears in the interview.
Manganiello will produce alongside his brother Nick Manganiello, Anthony Savini and Cecily Tyler, while Tara Long and Gino McDermott will executive alongside D&D researchers Jon Peterson, Adam F. Goldberg and co-director Newman.・Produce.
