Just Dance 2023 Announced for a Holiday Release

The annual entry for the Just Dance franchise has just been announced.

Announced at Ubisoft Forward 2022, Just Dance 2023 is set to release this holiday season for Xbox Series X and S, PS5 and Nintendo Switch. Includes an all-new ‘dance on demand’ platform, new online multiplayer features, and a redesigned interface.

As with past Just Dance games, you’ll also receive a free regular slate of content updates with seasonal updates. All of this is presented in a new Netflix-style user interface that allows players to browse new music, see what’s popular and recommended. more.

The game’s multiplayer mode allows up to six players from all over the world to dance together, with up to two per console.

Just Dance has been a hugely popular and long-running Ubisoft franchise since 2009, with annual releases on nearly every available platform, and a particularly long and surprising history on the Wii and Wii U. continued to release on both long after the title had run out. It was planned for consoles (but stopped on both).

Just Dance has historically been unveiled at Ubisoft’s E3 press conference with a massive onstage dance number, but that tradition has waned through the COVID-19 pandemic.
