Marvel Snap players found a legitimate way to raise Black Panther’s power level above 600,000, effectively breaking the game in the process.
As reported by polygon, Those who combine Black Panther with Wong, Iron Heart, and Odin to directly encounter the combo, as well as Onslaught’s Citadel location, bring its power level to 689,730.
That’s at least the number that landed after Marvel Snap went a little crazy, and yet that number was completely stretched and appeared outside the allotted space. Power levels can usually go from single digit sums to 20 or 30 if the cards are really good, and 600,000 is a staggering amount.
Successful combos are not particularly difficult. All you need is the right card and location. Black Panther’s ability doubles his current power when revealed. Ironheart adds 2 of his powers to his 3 random teammates. Want trigger reveals the ability twice.
Onslaught’s Citadel locations double their ongoing abilities. Wong’s abilities. The combo is then completed when Odin is played, and Odin triggers all allies’ Reveal abilities again when Revealed.
Basically, Black Panther’s power level is doubled over and over again, and a few more times, until it reaches a ridiculously high number.
The Marvel Snap update was released on November 30th, adding tons of new cards and new ways to earn them. It’s unclear if this combo will be nerfed in the next update, but it’s all within the rules of the game and not just exploits and glitches, so it’s going to be pretty hard to limit.
