Meta Quest 2 and Pro Price Cuts Are Live

Good news for those looking to buy a VR headset. Two Meta headsets have been reduced in price. You Can Get A 256GB Meta Quest 2 $429, which is $80 less than last week’s cost. It also comes with two games. Alternatively, if you want a more premium product, you can get Meta Quest Pro. for $999, $500 less than the previous price. Not bad, not at all.

Meta Quest 2 (256GB) and two games for $429

Metaquest 2 – 256GB

Includes two free games: GOLF+ and Space Pirate Trainer DX.

The 256GB model of the Meta Quest 2 used to cost $499 and is now available for $429. For comparison, the 128GB model is priced at $399, so just add $30 to double the storage. Considering there’s no way to increase storage on these headsets, this is a pretty good deal. For example, you can’t insert a microSD card like you can with Switch or Steam decks. Purchased Meta Quest 2 storage is everything you’ve ever had.

So what do you get for your money? You get a standalone headset that doesn’t need to be connected to anything to play games (like PSVR 2). Comes with 2 Touch controllers, charging cable, power adapter and glasses spacer. You also get two of his free games, GOLF+ and Space Pirate Trainer DX. Not a bad deal.

Meta Quest Pro $999

Meta Quest Pro VR Headset

If you want more premium hardware, you can buy the Meta Quest Pro for $999. That’s $500 less than last week’s price. It’s a wild discount. This headset is considerably slimmer and sleeker than the Meta Quest 2. It incorporates better controller tracking and great features like face tracking.

Meta Quest 2 (128GB) is still $399

One model with no price change is the baseline 128 GB model. So if you want to save $30 and can live with less storage, you can still buy the baseline model for $399. GOLF+ and Space Pirate Trainer DX are also included. YMMV.
