Microsoft Cloud plans to support Metaverse companies by offering public mixed reality technology integration services. according to According to an Oct. 24 report by Arab News.

Ihsan Anabtawi, COO of Microsoft’s UAE branch, revealed several products in development to realize the vision of software giant Metaverse.

Microsoft captures the metaverse through presence and connection in every space, empowering people to build connections in a hybrid world. The company aims to bring employees and customers at work into an immersive world and offer new experiences such as taking on the role of a creator or being part of a community.

Anatabwi sees the metaverse as key to powering the UAE’s digital and workplace transformation and streamlining operations and business models.

That said, the company is betting on enabling metaverse services across multiple products. The first is near-future products. An Internet of Things (IoT) platform that leverages mixed reality technology to create digital representations of real-world things, business processes, and people.

Launched in the UAE on July 20, 2022, Microsoft HoloLens2 is a headset that connects directly to the Microsoft cloud for data analytics, iterative testing and artificial intelligence. Companies can use the device’s holographic technology to render models of physical products and analyze relevant data before investing.

The device also enables remote assistance in the medical field. Developers can build any experience, and users have access to teams, collaboration apps, and purpose-built applications. According to Anabtawi, the device not only uses Mesh to customize avatars for meetings, but it also helps reimagine the meeting experience.

Currently in development, Digital 365 Connected Spaces is Microsoft’s other technology designed to model how people move and interact within any space to expand adoption and experience of the metaverse. One product.
