HoYoverse, the company behind Genshin Impact, Tears of Themis, and more, has released a new animated Genshin Impact trailer called “Scenery and Sentiment: Mondstadt Edition” that introduces Genshin Impact’s first region.
In it, the prominent NPCs of Mondstadt are briefly shown living in and around the windswept town. HoYoverse shared that the trailer was produced by Danish animation studio Sun Creature Studio, noting that it’s clearly different from their animated series project with Ufotable.
It’s unclear if this trailer is a scenic advertisement for Genshin Impact, an ongoing piece celebrating the game’s second anniversary, or something more. It’s possible to imagine HoYoverse releasing more of these to feature the other three major regions.
