New World Switching to Seasonal Model, Free and Premium Season Pass Announced

Amazon Games has announced that its MMORPG New World will switch to a seasonal model and as a result get a free premium season pass.

The seasonal model will go into effect on March 28th, and Amazon promises it will allow content such as new features and gameplay experiences to be dropped more frequently. The season lasted him three months, and Amazon said you can expect more unique additions to the new world with each new player.

The season pass works like a battle pass in games like Fortnite or Call of Duty: Warzone, allowing players to earn levels and rewards by completing specific tasks in the game. Players can stay on the free track if they want, but upgrading to the premium his version grants more rewards per level, including cosmetics, lucky tokens, boosts his tokens, and more.

This premium truck can be purchased using New World in-game credits and costs 20,000 Marks of Fortune. For $19.99, the player can buy him 23,000 Marks of Fortune. Amazon has clarified that all premium truck content, with the exception of cosmetics, can be earned through normal gameplay.

For the overall Season 1 content called Fellowship and Fire, players can enjoy new story content, a new Expedition, a new Heartgem ability called Fire Storm, the addition of Gear Set Storage, and a new server region.

The story will focus on The Silver Crows, an elite group of mercenaries tasked with helping Skye the Speardaughter against a horde of powerful Warlocks and Varangians. Expedition, on the other hand, is called Empyrean Forge and is a new level 60+ mission set in Great Cleve.

In their 6/10 review of the base game, IGN said:
