NFL Blitz Is Getting a New Home Arcade Cabinet

NFL Blitz is back with new arcade cabinets from Arcade1Up.

A remastered collection of the original NFL arcade games, the new NFL Blitz Legends Collection brings these classic footballs home in a retro-style arcade cabinet based on the original 1997 game.

NFL Blitz Legends includes NFL Blitz, NFL Blitz ’99, and NFL Blitz 2000: Gold Edition, all in one 5-foot-tall cabinet that showcases classic sports in memorable ways. You can play the title.

One interesting change is that the remaster is designed to support the NFL’s current player health and safety efforts. Certain tackle and post-whistle hits have been removed or redacted from newer versions of the game.

NFL Blitz Legends adds online multiplayer and leaderboards, allowing you to compete online with other players for the first time. However, the game itself stays true to the original, wrapping up all the highlights of American football in an easy-to-understand package.

The cabinet features classic styling based on the original NFL Blitz cabinet, including artwork depicting classic team logos and uniforms. In addition to Wi-Fi connectivity, the cabinet includes a 17-inch display, a light-up his marquee, and a 49-way joystick.
