Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered Arrives on Xbox Today

Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered is finally coming to Xbox and Game Pass today, following years of beloved JRPGs on PlayStation, PC and Nintendo Switch.

Following the surprise release of Ni No Kuni on Xbox announced at the Tokyo Game Show, its sequel, Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom, will be released next year.

The previous PlayStation exclusive has gradually migrated to PC, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, but thanks to the Xbox version it’s even more widely available and is free for Xbox Game Pass subscribers.

First released in 2011, Ni no Kuni quickly gained attention for its art style that looked like it came straight out of a Studio Ghibli movie. We produced the sequence, so of course there was a good reason for that.

In its initial 9/10 review, IGN said: A great deal of inspiration from the classics that old-timey JRPG fans adore. “

Ryan Dinsdale is an IGN freelancer. He talks about witchers all day long.
