Nintendo Announces Pokémon Presents Event for Next Week

Nintendo has announced that a special Pokémon Presents event will share updates for the franchise next week on February 27th.

The approximately 20-minute event, announced in a tweet (below), Pokémon YouTube Channel 6am Pacific / 9am Eastern / 2pm UK (midnight AEST).

Considering February 27th is also Pokémon Day, the announcement isn’t all that surprising.

Last year’s event also saw the announcement of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, but those two were only released a few months ago, so it’s unlikely that the next mainline game will be announced.

However, Nintendo has yet to announce a release date for Scarlett and Violet’s long-awaited patch, so we were able to see the games mentioned. We’ve seen some DLC announcements similar to the Tundra expansion.

Nintendo also announced in a Direct earlier this month that Game Boy and Game Boy Advance games are finally heading to the Switch via online memberships.
