Nvidia’s 531.18 Driver Adds RTX Video Super Resolution Support

Nvidia release (opens in new tab) New Game Ready Driver for GeForce graphics card users. Perhaps the most important thing Nvidia’s version 531.18 WHQL driver adds to content consumers is support for RTX video super resolution. There are slimmer options for gamers, with only two headlines added to him. Atomic Heart’s addition of his DLSS 3 optimizations and The Finals Closed his beta support. However, there are some bug fixes in popular games and Adobe apps that are worth a look.

We provided some VSR tests and details today, but in a nutshell, VSR adds the smarts of AI upscaling and augmentation to your streaming video consumption. This is similar to DLSS, but with different inputs and completely separate trained networks. Anyone with his GeForce card from the RTX 30 series or later can try this tech out. Get this new driver and the latest release of Edge or Chrome. (RTX 20 series support will come at a later date.)

Nvidia’s other major selection of games is nothing short of awe-inspiring. First, the 531.18 WHQL driver “further optimizes DLSS 3” in Atomic Heart (Where’s the ray tracing, Nvidia?). Next, his two-week closed beta of The Finals (no, I’m not going to capitalize it all) will be supported by this driver his release. I haven’t mentioned this game before, but in a nutshell, it’s a free shooter set in a highly destructive world where the player teams up with three of him for a tournament. This new game features his Nvidia technologies like DLSS, Reflex and RTXGI. See it in action below.
