OneXPlayer Handheld Powered By High-End Intel or AMD Silicon
OneXPlayer, one of the many handheld PCs that became popular after the Steam Deck, has revealed a new model available for pre-order: Mini Pro (opens in new tab)With either an AMD Ryzen 7 6800U APU with a Radeon 680M integrated GPU, or an Intel i7 1260P with Iris Xe graphics, it looks like a strong entry into the market.

Its 8 cores and 16 threads are an advantage over the Steam Deck’s 4c/8t chip, and you can also pack more RAM with up to 32GB of DDR5 at 6400MHz. The Intel version only has 16GB of RAM, but the 1260P is not a slow chip with 12 cores and 16 threads.Neither hit the best CPUs for gaming (opens in new tab) These are mobile processors, so they’re not on the list, but they’re impressive chips in the portable realm.
Both screens are 7-inch IPS panels with 1920×1200 resolution and 16:10 aspect ratio, with a choice of SSDs from 512GB to 2TB models. Controls include a pair of analog sticks (which use hall sensors to eliminate dead zones), a D-pad and face buttons all in their usual places, and an HD linear motor to handle the vibration function. It has a 48Wh battery that manages hours of gameplay at full tilt, and considerably longer when streaming media passively.A pair of USB 4 ports and a single USB 3 port handle connectivity.
The new Mini Pro is a step up from the current Mini models with Ryzen 5 or Intel i7 and a 1280×800 resolution screen. The framerate of the game published by OneXPlayer shows that it achieves 120FPS. Forza 5 up to 55FPS at god of war.
