Overwatch 2 Has Reached Over 25 Million Players In Its First 10 Days

Overwatch 2 reached over 25 million players in its first 10 days, with a “daily player base roughly evenly spread across EMEA, Asia and the Americas, surpassing previous daily player peaks from the original Overwatch.” nearly three times as high.”

  • From 11:00 am PT on October 21 to 11:00 am PT on October 24
  • From October 28, 11:00 AM PT to October 31, 11:00 AM PT
  • From November 24th at 11:00 AM PT to November 28th at 11:00 AM PT

Blizzard also revealed that their newest support hero, Kiriko, was a popular choice among players, with her Kitsune Rush ultimate ability used over two million times in the first week alone.

Overwatch 2 was plagued with DDoS attacks and problems stemming from Blizzard, which required players to connect a phone number to their account before playing. He has since apologized and offered the aforementioned gift to make up for it.

Blizzard also shared, “I’m glad the heroes’ overall power levels haven’t strayed too far from our goals,” and that Overwatch 2 won’t be recalibrated until season 2 begins in December.
