D-Pad Studio, creators of 2016 gem Owlboy, have announced their next project, Vikings on Trampolines. It’s in development on both his PC and consoles, and is a pixel-art his 1-4 player co-op side-scrolling adventure whose primary traversal mechanic is, as the name suggests, a trampoline. Story Mode puts you on a quest to stop the villainous Balloony and rescue King VI (lots of boss fights along the way, D-Pad Studio promises). On the other hand, Party-His game-inspired competitive versus mode lets you take on up to four friends. each other.
D-Pad Studio’s Jo-Remi Madsen said: “After releasing Owlboy, we went back to the idea and developed it into a fun and authentic co-op adventure!”
