Oxenfree 2: Lost Signals Delayed to 2023

Oxenfree 2: Lost Signals has been postponed to 2023 and has been named Night School Studio’s “Best Game Ever”.

Night School Studio has shared an update twitter, He said part of the reason for the delay was because he wanted to make it “really special” and “add some localization.”

“OXENFREE II: Lost Signals is a great game thanks to our amazing community,” wrote Night School Studio. “Seeing your fan art, reading your excited comments, and connecting with you ignites our ambition to make the best game ever. We’re moving the release window to 2023 to keep things simple and add more localizations.

“Thank you for your patience, support and understanding. We can’t wait to share the game with you. Stay tuned.”

Oxenfree 2: Lost Signals was first announced for a 2021 release on Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, and Steam, set five years after the events of the original 2016 supernatural coming-of-age drama game. Works as a sequel.

This new story follows Riley, who “returns to his hometown of Kamena to investigate a mysterious radio frequency signal that causes mysterious interference.”
