Blizzard fans are puzzled over how to order KFC, which is currently the only non-pre-order way to access the long-awaited Diablo 4 beta.
With the beta launching today, March 17, players expressed their surprise, frustration, and hope for the fun of KFC’s beta code promotion on Reddit for the game.
Some users have no intention of eating a chicken sandwich and are ordering KFC just for the beta code, while others are totally against it.

Posted by Reddit user kuroineko666 “Anti-Vegan Beta Key” directorasked why the only way to access the Diablo 4 beta outside of pre-ordering is to “order dead chicken from KFC.”

“I just ordered a chicken sandwich from KFC for a Diablo promotion,” they said. “Question: Do I have to actually pick up the sandwich to get the code?”
Other users have expressed similar plans, with one calling collaboration a “dystopian nightmare.”
Beta codes are available to anyone in the US ordering a double down sandwich or other valid option, but vegan or vegetarian meals are not listed.
Diablo 4 launches on June 6th, 2023, with another fully revealed beta taking place next week March 24th-26th.
