Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Competitive Play Trailer Reveals Cyclizar Alongside New Moves and Items

A new competitive play trailer has been released for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, featuring new moves, new items, and a very likely pre-evolution of the legendary Pokémon Miraidon and Collidon in these new games with Dragon and Normal-type Pokémon. A cycler has been revealed.

The trailer was released at the 2022 Pokémon World Championship, giving us another look at the battle between Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Not only does it resemble the legendary Pokemon mentioned in , but it can be used as a mount in-game like Myradon and Collidon. There it is.

Cyclizer, Collidon, Miladon

upon Pokémon.com, Cychlizar is known to have lived in many families in the Pardea region since ancient times. He has a gentle personality, and it is a normal sight to see people riding Cyclizal. Helps keep the cold at bay. “

It can also sprint at over 70 mph while carrying humans. [Cyclizar] Uses own HP to switch with party Pokémon. “

A few items were also shown in the trailer and on Pokemon.com. They are:

  • Mirror Herb: This herb allows its owner to mirror an opponent’s stat increase and boost their own stats, but only once.
  • Stealth Cloak: This hooded cloak conceals its owner and protects them from additional effects of movement.
  • Road Dice: When a Pokemon with this item uses a Multi-Strike move, the move has a higher chance of hitting more times.

Finally, Terastallizing was introduced, hinting at a phenomenon in the Pardea region where Pokémon “shine and shimmer like jewels”. Not only does it look even more sparkly, terastalizing it in battle will change the Pokemon’s type to that Terra type.

There is also a TM that makes a Pokémon learn the Normal-type move Terra Blast, which has the same type of move as the Pokémon’s Terra-type.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will release on Nintendo Switch on November 18, 2022. For more information, check out that these new games have three story campaigns that can be tackled in any order. IGN’s Joshua Yehl summed up his thoughts on his first entry into the Pokémon TCG World Championship.
