Primitive, an Unreal Engine 5-Powered First-Person Survival Game, Announced for PC

Developer Games Box SA has announced Primitive, a new Unreal Engine 5-powered first-person survival game set in a hostile open-world Stone Age. No release date set, but it’s in development for PC.

“This project is still in the early stages of development. When you think of similar games, Primitive is closer to titles such as Far Cry Primal, but our concept is a primitive character from the real world thousands of years ago. It all boils down to not only raw power, but also a fight for dominance and survival,” says Tomasz Supeł, CEO of Games Box SA.

Available in first-person and third-person perspectives, you’ll face off not only with the Elements, but also with rival Neanderthals, Sabretooth Tigers, and Woolly Mammoths. You’ll also need to build shelter, but dynamically changing weather will ruin your best survival plans.
