PS5, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch OLED Are All in Stock

This generation of consoles – PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and (sort of) Nintendo Switch OLED – are, to put it mildly, unusual. Finding inventory for current-gen consoles, both in brick-and-mortar stores and online, is much more difficult than usual, especially for the average consumer, his PS5, which has been found in stock at nearly every point in the last two years. was nearly impossible.

Sony recently said the PS5 shortage is essentially over. Finally.

Naturally, there are some caveats. For the PS5 Disc Edition, the only SKU of his currently available is the one that comes with God of War: Ragnarok and costs $559. In the old days, game pack-ins were offered at no extra charge, but those days are over. (Thankfully it’s a great game, see my 10/10 God of War Ragnarok review). Also, the PS5 digital version is not as widely available as the disc version.Must request an invitation to order AmazonOr shipped from Walmart within a week.

Still, it’s rare to find every model of every current console available online without major delays.

I think there are several factors at play here. By all accounts, the chip shortage that previously made these machines short has finally eased. There is also sexuality.

So, if you’ve been looking for a new console for the past few years and are having trouble finding inventory, this is good news. There is only hope.
