Raspberry Pi Pico W Powers Electronics Coding Kit Crowdfunder

The SB component is set to launch another crowdfunding campaign. Picorder Based on our favorite microcontroller, the Raspberry Pi Pico. This time, the project labeled “Raspberry Pi Pico Learning Kit” is bundled with a series of live training sessions to help you get the most out of the kit and learning experience.
Picoder is a portable all-in-one learning platform centered around the Raspberry Pi Pico W. Raspberry Pi Pico W is detachable. This means you can upgrade when new models are released. Housed in a plastic case, the Picoder features various components embedded on a large PCB. However, this is not a new idea. Seeed has done something similar for Arduino and recently reviewed Pico Bricks with embedded components. The difference with Picoder is the choice of components.
Picoder component list
- Raspberry Pi Pico W on Header
- half size breadboard
- LCD Screen
- 8×8 RGB LED matrix
- light dependent resistor
- BME280 temperature, pressure and humidity sensor
- HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor
- RFID reader
- buzzer
- 4x buttons
- 2 x LEDs
- potentiometer
- The servo
- 2x relay
- hat breakout
- USB C power input
Of particular interest are the LCD screen and the RFID module. These two components are not often found in learner kits and open up the kit to more advanced users. Perhaps the most interesting part of this project is the support, not the kit. The SB component states, “PiCoder also includes free live training sessions with experienced instructors. Join our community of learners to explore the world of coding while receiving personalized guidance and support.” Please.” These live sessions could be a feature that elevates Picoder from “just a kit” to a learning platform.
How much will it cost and what rewards will it offer? Unfortunately, it has not yet been clarified. Picorder is listed as an upcoming project on Kickstarter, but no date or price is given.
Please note that crowdfunding a project does not guarantee that you will receive a finished product. You believe in the project and want it to succeed. You are not purchasing a retail product.
