The Wolverine V2 Pro adds two fully customizable buttons on the front and four on the back. Alongside regular face buttons, these have a shorter actuation distance, making them quicker to press than standard DualSense controllers.
A similar effect applies to triggers, which can be locked at different distances to work well in different genres of games. For example, a short pull is most effective when playing shooters, while a long press is intended for use in racing games.
One thing that isn’t working is vibration. This is something Sony’s own DualSense puts a lot of emphasis on through haptic feedback. “The Razer Wolverine V2 Pro is a controller focused on competitive play,” he writes on his Razer website. “Vibration can negatively affect accuracy when playing games that require more precise directional input, so it’s not a feature typically used in competitive settings.”
