Resident Evil 4 Trailer

What is Resident Evil 4?

The new Resident Evil 4 is a remake of the original that debuted on the GameCube in 2005. Much like the incredibly successful (and incredibly fun) remakes of RE2 and RE3, this one takes the outdated core game and updates it in almost every way. I can imagine.

The results are great, given how previous REmakes were excellent (see IGN’s review of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3), and the original RE4 being widely regarded as one of the greatest video games of all time It should be something.

The original still holds up today, so it’s no surprise that Resident Evil 4 Remake’s hands-on preview featured fewer major gameplay updates and more graphics upgrades. Still, I noticed a number of changes meant to subvert the expectations of players familiar with the original.
