Resident Evil 4 Remake Has a Game-Breaking Bug and Capcom Is Working on a Fix

Capcom warned players of Resident Evil 4 Remake that a rare game-breaking bug was discovered at the beginning of Chapter 12.

Capcom shared news twitter, The issue affects players on all platforms, stating “We will fix this issue in a future update and apologize for the inconvenience.” Fortunately, this fix will allow players affected by this bug to continue their current saves.

As for the bug itself, Capcom details what it is and how to get around it in a spoiler-free way.

“A cutscene will play at the beginning of Chapter 12, after which the player will receive a key item,” Capcom wrote.

After obtaining the item, it will be displayed in the “Key Item & Treasure” menu in the attache case. If it does not appear, please reload the save data before the start of Chapter 12.
